Neil was born and raised in the city of Toronto in the Jane and Finch community. It was growing up there where his passion for basketball started. Through learning the game and making a name for himself throughout the various courts in the community, Neil attended high school powerhouse Bathurst Heights to further his basketball development. Growing up playing the game of basketball, Neil was known for his quick first step and his tenacious on ball defence ability.
Neil continues his love of basketball by teaching the game to kids. His passion for the game can still be seen by his ability to train and connect with kids on and off the court. “Basketball has been so important to me growing up. It’s helped me focus through school and I’ve learned so many life skills from the game. I want to continue sharing my knowledge to the next generation and have a positive impact on their future”. Neil has been coaching basketball since 2010 with various basketball organizations.
